I dreamed I owned a theophonist’s shop, where the voices of the godheads of all major religions were available for purchase on a variety of recording devices. The sermons of Jesus on scratchy 45′s, and Old Testament pronouncements on a series of LPs. Buddha was the only one on CD, although he didn’t have that much material. Mohammed’s words on magnetic tape cassettes, and the Hindu gods laid down on an 8-track. [See also Technology.]
